"Merry Christmas" is a short film seen as a "greeting" card to send for the Christmas holidays. A reflection, an outburst about the pillars of the super consumerist societies in which we live: The exploitation and extermination of people and resources, consuming to feel part of this world, to say that we love or that we care for the other...
How can we forget this sad view?
Christmas is a time of year when the absurdity of our hyperconsumerist societies is at its peak.
Consumption seems mandatory to meet emotional social criteria imposed by whom, reproduced by whom and made possible through whom?
This greeting card is a tribute to all these expatriate people, migrants, suffering from the most murderous and vicious system in history: Capitalism based on the annihilation of peoples, resources and entire continents, so that a minority of which we are a part of, can carry on offering plastic gifts to each other for Christmas, and thereby express its love to its relatives and to the world.
